RACING
SERIES

Turn 2 boasts a membership that actively participates in diverse racing environments. Members can be found competing in everything from grassroots events organized by SCCA and NASA to the prestigious vintage series of CSRG and SVRA. The club’s reach extends to professional levels, with members involved in Porsche Sprint Challenge, Lamborghini Super Trofeo, Radical Cup, and open-wheel categories like F4 and F3. Additionally, many members participate in endurance races, both locally and internationally.

To further develop their members’ skills, Turn 2 organizes a private racing series held at iconic tracks such as Sonoma, Thunderhill, and Laguna Seca. This series provides a platform for learning, competition, and enjoyment.

The current iteration of the series, now in its third year, utilizes the IMSA MX-5 ND Cup car. This vehicle, familiar to those who follow professional racing, offers close, momentum-focused, and technically challenging competition. The series is expertly managed by Aaron Jeansonne, a former winner and top competitor in the IMSA MX-5 Cup series.

Aaron plays a crucial role not only in establishing the series regulations but also in analyzing shared data and video footage. This valuable resource helps all racers to enhance their race craft and pace, skills that are applicable across various racing platforms.
